Calumet is a small horse living in the forest with his friends. Pantoufle is a teacher in the forest’s school and takes care of Calumet: as a matter of fact, the stork who was carrying Calumet was very tired and laid the heavy bundle in front of the wrong door… Pantoufle found it the next morning. From that day, he became Calumet’s tutor. In the titles’ sequence, the characters are quickly shown in their environment and attitude: every day, the young animals go to the forest’s school and learn something new about the world around them. In particular, they learn how to take care about their environment and cultural heritage. Calumet and Pico are best friends, they attend the forest’s school, where they learn many interesting and useful thing, in particular focusing on environmental education, myths and legends of all around the world, cultural heritage, every day problems and activities. Through many funny gags, the cuteness and the simplicity of the style better vehicle and communicate these contents. |
